Bounce reports

Bounce reports

Senders of releases will receive a report by email every 24 hours of any bounces from a release that is sent to any of their lists sorting the bounce events by Release ID, Label and Reasons for the detected bounce. This will help the release coordinator know which recipients they have to update should there be any bounces.

What is a bounce?

Emails may bounce for various reasons including incorrect or old email, is blocking the sender's email or there is an issue with the recipients provider. By using the bounce report the sender can investigate if the email on the list is still valid or even if there has been a staffing change at the station the release is meant to target.

Who receives it?

The sender of the release as defined in the Email Builder (Step 3) Sender's Email field of the email settings drop-down.

If no emails were bounced, no report will be sent.
