In the Email Builder page you can modify the placement of any of the elements you have created in the layout preview screen by clicking on the element, selecting it's movement handle and dragging it up or down.

Moving an element up or down

  1. In the left side of Email builder, click on the element you wish to move.

    A button panel will appear.

  2. Click and hold the arrow icon in the centre of the panel. This is the Movement handle.

  3. Holding down on the icon, drag the entire element up or down in the email. Change the position of an element by dragging it over a "[DROP HERE]" box and releasing it.

Arranging elements side by side

You can arrange elements side by side so that there are two or three columns in your email.

  1. Hover over the element to show the button panel.
  2. Click the two or three column button on the left side of the element, or drag an existing element over top of another one.

This will create up to 3 columns in the row. The element you created will by default appear in the left column.

  3. You can then drag your first element into the right column if you wish or you can drag a new element from the Element blocks on the right side of Email Builder into the empty column or drag an already placed element from within the layout to the empty column.
Changing two-columns to single column
  1. Hover over the row you wish to modify to reveal the button panel.
  2. Click on the single column button on the left side of the panel.

The row will return to being a single column again.

  3. By default, the element in the left column will occupy the row. Any element in the right column will be returned to the Element blocks and can be dragged into the email again.

Removing an element

  1. Hover over the row you wish to modify to reveal the button panel.
  2. Click the Trash can button.
