When sharing a release you may wish to prevent other release creators from changing certain elements in the release such as the Asset (song/playlist), its marketing labels, album art or DRM (download / stream only) options.
Locking options in release sharing
After creating a release sharing schedule you
can select any of the following options to be locked, meaning the
release creator who edits it will not be able to change those options.
- Locking the Asset will disable the ability of the release sharee to change the audio track or tracks for the release.
- Locking the Labels will disable the abilty to add or remove marketing labels.
- Locking the Album Art will prevent new album art from replacing the original.
- Lock DRM to Stream will restrict tracks from being downloaded from the player in the shared release.
