Cloning assets

Cloning assets

You can take an existing asset and clone it (duplicate it) so that you can change its metadata to suit different releases or tailor it for different markets or marketing labels.

  1. To clone a release, in Assets find the asset you wish to clone.
  2. Click in its *** context menu and select Clone.

  3. A dialog will display telling you the asset ID of the duplicated asset.

  4. Press OK. The editing panel for that cloned asset will now open so that you can make your metadata changes or even upload replacement audio.
