Uploading a Track to Assets

You can easily add individual songs or multiple tracks to Assets for inclusion in a release.

Adding an Audio Track to Assets

  1. After signing in, go to Assets from the main menu.
  2. Click the 3 dots next to the existing Asset, then edit.
  3. On the Track Information section, you’ll see the option to upload your audio file.
  4. Click the Upload link to open the file explorer, or drag and drop the file directly into the designated area. Once uploaded, the song will begin processing.

  5. As the track uploads, you can add relevant metadata (such as Artist, Title, and more) in the fields on the right of the track information.
    Note: Artist and Title are required fields.

     6. Once the track has finished uploading and processing, click Save to save the song and complete the asset creation. The track will now appear in your list of assets.

Removing tracks

If you need to remove a track from an asset at any point:
  1. Hover on the track you wish to remove from the Track Information section and click on the trash bin icon next to it.

  1. A confirmation popup will appear to ensure you are certain. Confirm the removal, and the track along with its metadata will be deleted.

Important Notes:

  1. Your track will need to process before the asset creation is fully complete. You can begin working on your release while the track is processing, but be sure to wait for the asset to upload fully before continuing with the release process.
  2. Remember, removing a track will also delete its associated metadata, so proceed with caution.
