This new feature will allow our Player recipients to share music amongst themselves and spread the music love further for our Caster users.

Player now allows users to share full music releases (not individual tracks) with verified connections, but only if the Caster user has enabled sharing for that release.

Sharing includes an optional comment and is restricted to verified Player users, with unverified users marked accordingly. If a user has no connections, they must create some first.

Shared releases maintain the original permissions, and access is revoked if the Caster disables sharing—even if it’s later re-enabled, previous access isn’t restored. Recipients are notified via email. Initially promoted as a Pro feature with unlimited sharing, it may become a paid add-on depending on adoption. Caster users can toggle sharing on or off via the distribution settings.
