Reviewing existing assets

Reviewing existing assets

In Play MPE V8 anyone in your label will be able to view all assets available to your team, with sorting and searching tools.

  • After signing in, click Assets in the main menu.

You will see any existing assets displayed in the main table.

Each column can be sorted by clicking at the header for the column. In addition, there are pagination controls at the bottom of the screen.

Searching for existing assets

Enter Artist, Title or Asset ID into the search box at the top of the page to search for individual assets. Press return and the table will refresh to show matching results.

Filtering existing assets

To the right of the search box are filters for status, date, owner and label to help you pare down the results to those that you want.

Status:

Ready (the audio has been uploaded, processed and is ready for a published release) - in the list of assets you can see these marked with the green circle in the Status column.

Pending (the audio has been uploaded but it is still being processed by the system - releases can still add pending audio assets but cannot be published). These show as yellow in the listing.

Error (something prevented the uploading of the asset or processing). These show as red.

Date:

By clicking Date, you can filter the results to set date criteria ...

or set a range at the bottom.

You can also filter by Owner or (Marketing) Label by clicking the Owner or Label buttons.
