Managing assets

With Play MPE® Caster, your team members can access and manage all assets available to your label. The platform offers powerful sorting, searching, and filtering tools to streamline your workflow.

Accessing Assets

  1. After signing in, from the main menu, click Assets to view your team’s assets.
  • The main table displays all existing assets.

  • Click on any column header to sort assets by that column.
  • Use the controls at the bottom of the page to navigate through multiple pages of assets.

Searching for Assets

  • Locate the search box at the top of the page.
  • Enter keywords such as Artist, Title, or Asset ID.
  • Press Return (or Enter) to refresh the table and display matching results.

Filtering assets

Use the filters next to the search box to narrow down your results by:
1. Status:
  1. Ready : Assets marked with a green circle are fully processed and ready for release.
  2. Pending: Assets marked with a yellow circle indicate the asset is still being processed. These assets can be added to releases but cannot be published yet.
  3. Error: Assets marked with a red circle indicate an issue occurred during upload or processing.
2. Date:
Click Date to filter assets by specific dates or date ranges.

3. Owner or Label:
Use the Owner or Label buttons to filter by asset owner or marketing label.

Adding Reference Notes

You can use the Reference Notes column to keep track of asset details for yourself or your team.

  1. Find the asset you want to annotate and click Edit.
  2. In the metadata editor, enter your note in the Notes field.
  3. Click OK to save.The note will now appear in the Reference Notes column for that asset.
