Assigning a Label or Owner to an Asset

When uploading a new asset or editing an existing one, you can assign it to a record label or to an owner that you have permission to manage.
  1. Go to the Assets section.
  2. Choose whether to Edit an existing asset or create a new one (e.g., Add Playlist or Add Audio Track).
  3. Locate the Owner and Record Labels field.


  1. Click the + button next to either field.

  2. A label picker window will appear.

  1. Browse the list and select the check box next to the label(s) you wish to assign to the asset.
  2. Once selected, click Save and the label will be assigned to the asset.
