Deleting Staff Accounts

Deleting Staff Accounts

When you delete a staff member from Play MPE® Caster, their account will be permanently removed, and they will no longer be able to log in. However, any drafts or published releases they have worked on will remain intact, as these are tied to the associated labels, not to individual staff accounts.

Steps to Delete a Staff Member:

  1. In the Staff area, find the user you wish to delete.
  2. Click on the ellipsis (⋮) next to the user's name to open the action menu.
  3. From the action menu, choose Delete.
  4. A confirmation dialog will appear, asking if you're sure you want to delete the user. Click Delete to confirm.

Important Notes:

  1. Instead of deleting a staff member, you can remove their roles or access to specific labels. This allows you to limit their access without fully deleting their account.
  2. You cannot delete your own account.
  3. Staff managers cannot remove their own staff manager role.
